FUNCTIONS SUMMARY

 

The Food Service Attendant performs general tasks assigned by Food Services, such as meal preparation and service to the patients and residents, and cleaning duties.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Secondary school diploma;
  • Food handler's certificate from a recognized institution;
  • Fluent in French and English;
  • Ability to perform activities requiring considerable standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling/pushing and transferring equipment and materials.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Food Service Attendant certificate from a recognized college;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Ability to demonstrate respect, patience and compassion toward patients and residents;
  • Capacity to provide an exceptional client-centered service.
