Enhancing access to interprofessional learning resources through webtechnologies: expanding university and community reach by adapting a piloted self-learning module for interactive webaccess

Project Description and Objectives:

Through the Humanities project, funded by Health Canada, a bilingual self-learning module "You the learner, the person in your care and the interprofessional care team" was developed at Bruyere Continuing Care. This module is based on the best evidence available on interprofessional education and effective collaborative teamwork taht centres on the needs of patients and their families. The module represents a significant resource for learning in a number of settings and, with enhanced accesss through the development of an online resource, will be a valuable learning resource for students and healthcare professionals interested in enhancing their interprofessional collaborative person-centred practice skills.
