The Primrose Family Medicine Centre is the newest family medicine unit in the department of family medicine at the University of Ottawa and is affiliated with Bruyère Continuing Care. We are located in a stand alone building on the site of Saint-Vincent Hospital, which itself is located on the eastern edge of the downtown core in Ottawa, bordering the Chinatown and Little Italy districts, and Centretown.

The Primrose site has five staff physicians, 12 family medicine residents and allied health personnel including a nurse practitioner, pharmacist, dietician and social worker. In coordination with our sister unit, the Bruyère Family Medicine Centre, we offer a comprehensive and flexible postgraduate training program which is designed to allow our graduates to function independently in any setting.

The clinic sees only patients currently registered; there is no walk in service.
