Presentations made by Dr. Clare Liddy and Dr. Larry W. Chambers at the CIHR Cafe Scientifique Spring Session held in Ottawa on May 6, 2010 are now available. Dr. Liddy presented information on a clinician-researcher's perspectives on patient involvement in chronic disease research and Dr. Chambers represented the Élisabeth Bruyère Research Institute during presentations made by four vice presidents of health research in Ontario. These cafe sessions bring together leading members of the Association of Canadian Healthcare Organizations (ACAHO) to speak about vibrant research enterprises involving patients and families in life-saving research and innovation.
