Leading Women Building Communities Award - Congratulations to Amy Porteous
03/09/2018
Amy Porteous, vice-president of Public Affairs, Planning and Family Medicine, was honoured for her exceptional volunteer contributions to making Orléans a stronger community. Amy was selected as a recipient of the “Leading Women Building Communities” award, in recognition for her passion and dedication, which had a positive impact on her community.
Marie-France Lalonde, MPP Ottawa-Orléans, recently made the announcement to Amy on behalf of the Province of Ontario. “You have been a role model for women and girls and our entire community,” she said.
Amy received her award this morning at a special ceremony, during which she had the opportunity to network with many other women who share the same qualities of service and leadership. “That is a pretty big honour and something to be most proud of,” added Guy Chartrand, our president and CEO.
Please join us in congratulating Amy on this distinction.
