O Canada! Commemorative Book Celebrating Canada’s 150th Anniversary

11/01/2017

With festivities and events marking Canada’s 150th birthday continuing throughout the fall, several Ottawa-based organizations have published a new book that highlights the best of the nation and its capital. A section of the coffee-table book is dedicated to Ottawa 2017’s signature events, such as La Machine, Red Bull Crashed Ice and the Interprovincial Picnic on the Bridge.

The publication also includes essays from well-known Canadians, including former governor general Michaëlle Jean, Canadian filmmaker Jean-Daniel Lafond, social justice advocate Allison Fisher and historian Andrew Iarocci. It also includes a special piece on Bruyère Continuing Care.
The book was created by the Melbourne Group, Ottawa Media Group and Great River Media, the parent company of OBJ.

Books are $50 each and can be purchased through the Bruyère Foundation and in the boutiques at Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital, Saint-Vincent Hospital and Bruyère Village. All proceeds from the sales of this book though Bruyère will be donated to Bruyère Foundation.
