Our response to COVID-19
Ways you can help
At Bruyère, we continue to adapt and actively respond to the situation with COVID-19 as it unfolds, and working closely with Ottawa Public Health and our regional healthcare partners to follow all appropriate guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients, residents, families, volunteers, visitors and staff.
We want to assure you that we have implemented additional preventative measures at all of our campuses, including onsite screening at our entrances and strict visitor restrictions.
All the hospitals in Ottawa are coming together to fight this infectious disease – and community members like you are doing your part by practicing physical distancing. There are many ways you work with us to support you community during this difficult time. Including:
- Donating personal protective equipment: You can help in the fight against COVID-19 by donating personal protective equipment. To safely fight COVID-19, healthcare professionals and frontline staff members need gowns, gloves, masks and eye protection. Donations made through this regional website will be distributed based on need among all the organizations in the region that deliver health care. Thank you for supporting healthcare organizations in our community! For more information on PPE donations, please contact Kim Curran at 613-857-2807 or firstname.lastname@example.org
- Using the WebGiv search engine: When purchasing house supplies and groceries online, you can shop through the WebsGiv search engine and donations will be made to Bruyère by any of the business indicated by the Bruyère flame.
Thank you for your support.
