Placements, Rotations and Observerships

Through our academic partnerships with the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Algonquin College, La Cité Collégiale, and other universities and colleges throughout Canada and around the world, Bruyère offers rewarding training opportunities for postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, summer students, and undergraduate honours students. Our learners have the opportunity to practice and to expand their clinical, educational and research skills in a teaching environment that provides the highest quality of care.

Student placements are arranged through coordinators of affiliated academic institutions. Contact your school if you wish to do your placement at Bruyère.

Physicians, medical residents, medical students, paramedics, or physician assistant trainees who are not credentialed by Bruyère and are not registered trainees of the University of Ottawa, whose sole purpose of being at Bruyère is the direct observation of clinical care. Anyone else will not be considered as observers, including family members and pharmaceutical representatives.

If you want to apply for an observership, you must contact Bruyère's Medical Affairs Department.
