Helping you get your health back on track

The pandemic has been challenging for both our mental and physical health. Isolation and lockdowns have caused loneliness and solitude and have also caused a large decrease in physical exercise and an increase in sedentary behaviours such as lounging, playing video games and watching TV.

Over the last 18 months, researchers have looked into the impacts of the pandemic on our mental health and physical health such as weight gain, food habits and alcohol consumption.

The Bruyère Diabetes Education Program has been watching these worrying trends. They want you to know that by adopting healthy habits and lifestyle changes, like watching what you eat and exercising, you can help prevent diabetes and get your health back on track.
