National Volunteer Week!
April 18 to April 24, 2021
Bruyère is extremely proud of its volunteers and is grateful for their dedication. They provide invaluable support to patients, residents, tenants, families and visitors. Even in this time of COVID-19, they reach out to our members, support them and make a difference.
This pandemic has disrupted our operations: Many of our volunteers have been forced to put their activities on hold—some because of their vulnerability—while others have kept in touch with our residents and patients through video conference calls and exchanging letters. Some continued to show up at our three locations despite the COVID-19 pandemic. What a show of commitment!
Bruyère values its volunteers, and this Volunteer Week is an opportunity we can’t miss to honour them, even in the current circumstances of the pandemic. To this end, the volunteer resources team has organized two virtual activities during the week of April 18 to April 24, 2021.
