Daniel Levac

Daniel LevacMr. Levac is president and CEO at Bruyère since January 2016. In this capacity, he acts as secretary of the board of directors and is an ex-officio member of all committees of the board. He is also an ex-officio member of the Bruyère Foundation and the Bruyère Research Institute Boards.

In previous roles at Bruyère, Mr. Levac has been executive vice-president and chief operating officer, senior vice-president of Corporate Services and chief financial officer. He was also chief administrative officer at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa; manager of Finance, Administration and Information Systems at the Ministry of Community and Social Services at the Government of Ontario; comptroller for Omzig Corporation, a high-tech company; and senior auditor for KPMG in Calgary.

Mr. Levac is a chartered professional accountant by profession and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Administration from the University of Ottawa. He is a part-time professor at the Telfer Masters in Health Administration program at the University of Ottawa.

In his spare time, Mr. Levac plays hockey, softball and golf. He is a volunteer board member for the Iodine Global Network, a non-governmental organization.
