Ms. Parker-Taillon chairs the Governance and Nominating Committee and serves as the organization's sponsor designate with the Catholic Health Sponsors of Ontario. She has been a member of the Bruyère Board of Directors since October 2014.
Dianne Parker-Taillon is the president of Parker-Taillon Consulting Inc. and has over 30 years experience in health care, including management positions in national not-for-profit organizations, as well as the health care facility sector. She founded Parker-Taillon Consulting in 2002 and has led a number of health policy, strategic planning and standards development projects. Her clients have included professional associations and regulatory organizations, federal government departments, health care facilities/hospitals, not-for-profit organizations, and health research funding agencies.
From 2002-2004 Ms. Parker-Taillon was the executive director of the multi-stakeholder National Initiative for Telehealth Guidelines project that resulted in the development and validation of a pan-Canadian bilingual framework of guidelines for telehealth for use by regulated health professions, telehealth provider organizations and Accreditation Canada. Previously she served as director of education, practice, and research with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association from 1992 to 2002 and was responsible for national standards and policies for the profession.
Ms. Parker-Taillon’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in physiotherapy from Queen’s University and a Master's of Science in Kinanthropology from the University of Ottawa.
