Function summary

Under the direction of the Director, Medical Affairs, the Physician Clinical Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and assists with billing lists for physiatrists and hospitalists; documentation for legal, medical reports and insurance purposes; collection and preparation of billing information; preparation and distribution of forms and reports. The incumbent assists with correspondence and letters such as proofreading, responding and transcribing. He/She works collaboratively within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to provide administrative support for special projects and departmental responsibilities, as required.

 **This position is to support the physicians of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Candidates interested in additional hours should apply to both the 20-NU-133.1 position and the 21-BRI-04 position, and indicate in their applications that they have done so. Note that these two part time positions are with different organizations.**
 
 
Required qualifications
  • Two (2) year community college diploma in a related field or equivalent
  • Minimum two (2) year relevant experience
  • Fluently Bilingual; both oral and written required (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.)
