Function SummaryReporting to the Director, Learning and Organizational Development, the Education Coordinator provides support to the Director and the Learning and Development team by managing departmental logistics. This includes the coordination and management of all activities, tasks, resources, accounts, and data collection for the corporate-wide Learning and Development Department. The individual will also be responsible to organize conferences and workshops.
The Education Coordinator works with different stakeholders and external clients in the role of event coordinator and demonstrates attention to quality improvement by the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of educational events.
The Learning and Development Department serves approximately 2600 employees, including approximately 85 managers and 570 volunteers. Is committed to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère Continuing Care.

Required Qualifications - College Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Health Care, Administration, Human resources, Education or related field
- 2 years relevant experience
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Experience in organizing conferences and workshops
- Advanced computer skills
- Basic medical terminology
- Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.)

- Very good analytical qualities to be able to analyze and interpret reports clearly and accurately and to answer or enquire about any discrepancies
- Advanced knowledge of desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook)
