Function summaryReporting to the Manager, Scheduling Resource Office, this role is responsible for:
Working on the replacement of unpredicted staffing needs.
Providing scheduling / staffing advisory support to leaders to address short-term complex staffing challenges.
Updating the scheduling software to reflect appropriate payroll codes.
Addressing short-term staffing challenges, which may involve implementation of overtime and contingency plans.

Required qualifications- College diploma in business administration or other related field or equivalent combination of experience, education and training
- Experience with a scheduling software, such as Logibec (QHR), preferred
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of collective agreements (CUPE and ONA), scheduling processes / policies / procedures / guidelines, preferred
- Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement)
Key Competencies- Fluency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Ability to regularly manage time pressures and address dissatisfied staff with a serviced-based approach
- Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills as well as organizational skills to effectively address multiple demands
- Excellent critical thinking, initiative, problem solving and analytical acumen
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
