$23.046/hr to $24.138/hr (plus $3.00/hour compensation enhancement pursuant to the Personal Support Workers and Direct Support Workers Permanent Compensation Enhancement Program currently in effect), plus a competitive benefits program

Function Summary

Functions as a member of the Nursing Team.
Provides/administers nursing care to patients according to the policies, procedures and standards of Bruyère.

Is committed to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère.

Is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement.


Required Qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent.
  • Patient Care Attendant course approved by the Ontario Ministry of Universities and Colleges (650 hrs course preferred).
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work with cognitively impaired elderly.
  • Basic knowledge in dementia.
  • Experience in long term care.
  • Knowledge or experience in end-of-life care.
  • Fluent in French and English
