$22.049/hr, (plus $2.00/hour compensation enhancement pursuant to the Personal Support Workers and Direct Support Workers Permanent Compensation Enhancement Program currently in effect), plus a percentage in lieu of benefits

Function summary

The Meal Helper is responsible for feeding and assisting patients at meal time and to complete other related duties, as required.

Is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement.
  

Required qualifications

  • Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) Level C certificate
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate a respectful and compassionate behavior towards the patients/residents
  • Ability to remain calm 

Preferred qualifications

  • Fluent in English and French
