Salary Scale:

$22.534 to $23.664 /hr, plus a percentage in lieu of benefits

Function Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Environmental Services, this role is responsible of performing various household-related duties.
Responsibilities include cleaning functions, including cleaning of offices, of patient’s room, washrooms, and other areas, washing floors, cleaning sinks, and general housekeeping duties.
May be occasionally required to strip, wax, polish floors and clean carpets.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of grade 10 secondary school.
  • One (1) year experience related to housekeeping.
  • Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.).


Key Competencies

  • Ability to perform heavy work: moving furniture, etc.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to perform activities requiring considerable standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and transferring material.
