Function SummaryReporting to the Manager, Occupational Health and Safety Services (OHSS), located mainly at Saint-Vincent Hospital site with possibility of working at Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital site as well, the Clerk assists in a variety of activities to ensure the efficient functioning of the department. He/she provides reception related services as well as clerical support to the OHSS team.
He/She is committed to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère Continuing Care. He/She is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications - Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years related experience
- Fluent in English and French
- Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Course in medical terminology
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience as clerk/receptionist in an hospital setting
- Ability to work within a team
- Good personal judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated flexibility, courtesy, discretion and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Bruyère Continuing Care programs & services, as well as external agencies
- Ability to handle tight deadline and manage shifting priorities
