Function summaryReporting to the Manager, Health Records and Telecommunications, the incumbent is accountable for all telecommunications-related activities including interaction with patients/residents, physicians, staff and public, immediate response to emergency codes as well as a myriad of responsibilities related to the department.

He/She is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement. Required qualifications- Secondary school diploma
- Experience with switchboard consoles, paging environment and multi-line telephones
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with people coupled with the ability to offer a professional, tactful and courteous client-centered service
- Ability to act quickly and professionally during an emergency
- Intermediate computer skills including Excel, Meditech, Outlook
- Fluent in French and English
