Function SummaryReporting to the Clinical Manager, the incumbent is responsible for assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders of patients. He/She is committed to living to Mission and Values of Bruyère Continuing Care.
He/She is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement. Required Qualifications- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent as recognized by the College
- Member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
Preferred Qualifications- Fluent in French and English
- Experience in Rehabilitation
- Experience with assessment, interventions and treatment plans for persons with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorder
Knowledge and experience with Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC) Ability to work independently and with members of an interdisciplinary team
