Function summary

Functions as a member of the Nursing Team.

Provides/administers nursing care to patients according to the policies, procedures and standards of the Bruyère Continuing Care.

He/She is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement. 
 
 

Required qualifications

  • Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent;
  • Patient Care Attendant course approved by the Ontario Ministry of Universities and Colleges (650 hrs course preferred)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate 

Preferred qualifications

  • Fluent in French and English
  • Experience in a hospital setting
