Function SummaryReporting to the Manager, Assisted Living Services - Bruyère Village, the Tenant Support Worker will work as part of the Assisted Living Services team to provide excellent client services to the tenants living within the Bruyère Village. Part of the function will be to work collaboratively with the Community Program Worker II during meal times, serving the clients and cleaning up after every meal. He/she will also be responsible to do the laundry and provide light housekeeping duties when required. He or she will also verify all grocery deliveries and be responsible for unpacking the food upon delivery. He or she may also be called upon to perform clerical duties such as writing memos to tenants or filing within the department. Required Qualifications- Completion of grade 12 secondary school
- One (1) year experience working with senior population
- Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Basic medical terminology
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent time management skills
Preferred Qualifications- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate
- Excellent client services skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Initiative, creative and task oriented
- Team player
- Compassionate, patient and a good listener
- Outgoing personality and friendly approach
