As part of Physiotherapy Week celebrations, physiotherapists, as well as some clinical managers, took part in a special "coffee pot"event at the Saint-Vincent hospital. They heard from two compelling guest speakers. Kate O’Connor, the Director of Practice and Policy at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association presented perspectives and trends on the future of the Physiotherapy Profession. Dr. Heidi Sveistrup, interim CEO & Chief Scientific Officer of Bruyère Research Institute (BRI) and V. P. Research and Academic Affairs discussed the work of the with a focus on linking clinical questions to research.
The discussions were energizing and helped to cap off a successful Physiotherapy Week at Bruyère Continuing Care.
