Bruyère Continuing Care recognizes the benefits of visits from family members and friends on a patient’s well-being. For that reason, families and visitors are welcome to visit patients 24 hours a day, according to the patient or Substitute Decision Maker’s preferences.
Please inform the clinical manager or clinical nursing supervisor should you wish to stay overnight. We ask visitors arriving at the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital or Saint-Vincent Hospital between 9 p.m. and 6:50 a.m. to procced to the main entrance to sign in and receive a temporary visitor card.
In order to provide a quiet and restful environment for all our patients, everyone on Bruyère premises is asked to respect quiet hours, between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Visits may be interrupted to protect the privacy of other patients, maintain safety/security or for infection control purposes. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult other than the patient.
