Emergency Preparedness and Fire Safety

When an alarm sounds, it could be an emergency or a fire drill. Please remain calm.

If you are in the hallway, we will ask you to go or assist you into the nearest empty room until the “all-clear” signal is announced.

Elevators can’t be used during a fire alarm.

We will ask visitors entering the building at the time of the alarm to remain at the entrance until the “all-clear” is announced.

We do not allow any type of open flame including birthday candles within Bruyère Continuing Care , except for the chapels.
