About:

Dr. Kobewka is an internal medicine physician at the Civic Hospital and Investigator at Bruyère Research Institute. He studies decision making for people with serious illness and frailty. His work on decision support includes creating predictive models to inform patients, family members and physicians about possible outcomes to support person centered decision making. He also creates interactive education and values clarification tools for patients and families to support in-the-moment decision making.


Research Interests:

Decision making for people with frailty, decision support intervention, predictive algorithms, long term care, administrative data analysis, advance serious illness preparation.
