About:

Simone Dahrouge, PhD is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa, a Senior Investigator at Bruyère Research Institute, and a senior ICES scientist with extensive experience using large databases. She is the lead for the Access to Resources in the Community program focused on ameliorating equitable access to quality primary health care services.


She established and is the director of the Ottawa Practice Enhancement Network (OPEN) which is a regional primary care learning collaborative to help practices achieve quality goals, and is a co-lead for the Brain and Heart Interconnectome project which seeks to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of concurrent brain-heart-mind conditions.

Primary care, health services delivery.
