Patients Residents & Families

Visiting Hours

When to Visit

With the wellbeing of our patients and residents in mind, Bruyère has established specific schedules for welcoming visits from families and friends. By observing our schedules, you will be helping us to ensure patient privacy, security, care, and rest as well as the prevention and control of possible infections.

These hours are flexible. Please talk to the clinical manager if you would like to stay longer.

In addition to dropping by patient rooms, visitors, patients and residents can also spend time together in common areas such as lounges, dining rooms, cafeterias and gardens.

  • During times of outbreaks in flu and other contagious illnesses, visiting hours may be restricted.
  • If necessary for the wellbeing and safety of all people in our care as well as in our facilities, Bruyère may decide to put visiting restrictions in place.
  • Abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards a patient, resident, visitor, volunteer or staff member will not be tolerated.
