Research and teaching

Medical students, medical residents or students and professionals from other disciplines such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing or pharmacy may be involved in providing or observing care, with your consent and under the supervision of a staff member or physician.

All research, including that sponsored by the Bruyère Research Institute, must be approved by our Research Ethics Board in advance of any treatment and will follow strict protocol regarding confidentiality. You may refuse to participate in any research project with the assurance that your treatment and care will not be adversely affected.
