Resident and family handbook

For your safety

To help prevent security incidents, we have installed over 100 security cameras throughout our facilities.

At Élisabeth Bruyère Residence, security guards are also on duty from 7 a.m. to midnight.

At Saint-Louis Residence, security guards are on site from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., on weekends and holidays.

Doors are locked at all times and a key-code is required to open all doors. However, these security measures are not foolproof and incidents may still occur. Your cooperation is required in applying the following security measures:

  • Do not keep large sums of money in your room – our Accounts Receivable and Trusts office offers a trust fund service free of charge (refer to Financial Matters section).
  • Never leave valuables unattended, especially in common areas.
  • If you see anyone acting suspiciously inside the building, notify staff immediately.
  • Never let a stranger follow you into the facility after the doors have been locked. Ask them to ring the bell at the entrance
