Rehabilitation Day 2026: Celebrating exceptional rehabilitation care
09/16/2026
Today Mayor Mark Suttcliffe proclaimed September 16, 2026, Rehabilitation Day in Ottawa, celebrating the dedicated professionals who help people regain strength, confidence, independence, and quality of life.
At Bruyère Health, rehabilitation is rooted in person-centred, compassionate care. Every day, our interdisciplinary teams work alongside patients and families to support recovery, restore function and help individuals achieve the goals that matter most to them.
Experience a day in the life of one of our rehabilitation assistant, Sandrine Briseboise. Our CEO, Guy Chartrand spent some time with Sandrine as she worked in both our inpatient and outpatient units. During his visit, he saw firsthand the impact rehabilitation professionals have on the lives of patients and families every day.
As we celebrate Rehabilitation Day, we extend our sincere gratitude to all members of our rehabilitation teams. Thank you for your compassion, dedication and commitment to providing exceptional care. Your efforts help patients and families navigate some of life's most challenging moments and make a lasting difference.
Happy Rehabilitation Day!
