Come and hear the soothing sounds and melodic melodies of Choral Group DIXIE ROAD on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2 p.m. in the atrium of Saint Vincent Hospital. A little Gershwin, some Rodgers and Hart, Leonard Cohen, Leonard Bernstein and more—there’s something for everyone.
Dixie Road was started 7 years ago by a quartet of voice students who practised at a location on Dixie Road in Ottawa. Since then the group has grown both in size and musically. Our members have years of musical experience and some do solo work or sing with other choirs. Dixie Road performs at churches, seniors homes and community events, singing a variety of pieces from classical and sacred to pop and Broadway. We are honoured to share our love of music with you.
