Everyday health care challenges deserve proven solutions. The Telfer Leading Quality Improvement in Healthcare Certificate Program equips health care leaders with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools needed to drive meaningful and sustainable improvement across the sector.

Last year, we launched the redesigned program through our collaboration with Telfer Executive Programs at the University of Ottawa and we are now launching recruitment for 2026 program which starts in November.

Designed for physicians, nurses, health care administrators, and allied health professionals, this hands‑on program challenges participants to tackle real‑world issues within their organizations. Participants strengthen their leadership skills by designing and implementing new systems that enhance patient safety and help shape the future of care.

Hear directly from Emanuela Ferretti, a neonatal physician whose experience in the program empowered her to reduce opioid use for pain management in CHEO’s NICU by an incredible 55 per cent.
