Biographie

Fateme Rajabiyazdi, Ph. D., est professeure adjointe au Département des systèmes et du génie informatique, est titulaire d’une nomination conjointe à l’École des technologies de l’information de l’Université Carleton et chercheuse affiliée à l’Institut de recherche Bruyère. En 2023, elle a reçu le Prix du chercheur ou de la chercheuse en début de carrière de la Société canadienne de génie biomédical. Avant de prendre son poste à l’Université Carleton, Fateme était chercheuse postdoctorale à l’Université McGill, où elle a reçu un financement du Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé. Elle a obtenu son doctorat en sciences informatiques à l’Université de Calgary en 2018.

Ses recherches se situent à l’intersection de la visualisation d’information et de l’interaction humain-machine. Ses recherches visent notamment à développer des technologies innovantes et des outils de visualisation des données pour permettre aux patients de gérer eux-mêmes leurs soins et d’établir une communication fondée sur les données avec leurs proches aidants et les fournisseurs de soins de santé.
