Holiday activities and celebration in Long-Term Care

The holidays are upon us and we
are excited to share the many activities our therapeutic recreation team has put together
for our patients, residents and their loved ones.
We have a variety of concerts,
movies and activities planned. Check this schedule regularly as it is being
updated weekly!
These activities are specific to
Saint-Louis Residence and Élisabeth-Bruyère Residence.
Week 1: December 1 – December 10
- December 3: Ottawa Concert Band - 2 p.m.
in the auditorium – Saint-Louis Residence
- December
6: “Barbie” movie - 2 p.m. start in the auditorium – Saint-Louis
Residence
- December 8: Beatrice Desloges Concert Band - 10:30
a.m. in the auditorium – Saint-Louis Residence
- December 9: Beacon Hill Concert Band - 2 p.m.
in the Garden – Élisabeth-Bruyère Residence
- December 10: Echo Harmonieux - 2 p.m. in
the auditorium – Saint-Louis Residence
Week 2: December 11 – December 17
- December 11: Guitar Concert with Ken Beatty - 2 p.m.
at the Élisabeth-Bruyère Residence
- December 15: Carols with Barby and Friends - 2 p.m.

- December 16: Ishaan to perform a cello concert - 2 p.m. at the Élisabeth-Bruyère Residence
Week 3: December 18 – December 25
- December 19: Christmas Parade - Staff will sing
on all the home areas in the dining rooms over lunch hour – Saint-Louis
Residence
- December 19: December Gloucester Concert
Band - 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium – Saint-Louis Residence
- December 21: Francoise Slaunwhite Piano
concert - 2 p.m. in the auditorium – Saint-Louis Residence
