Changes to masking starting August 30

Over the last few weeks, we have seen an increase in COVID-19 cases in the community and on our campuses. Following an extensive review with our teams we have made the decision to change our masking practices.
Starting Wednesday, August 30, 2023, masks will need to be worn indoors by everyone working, learning, visiting and volunteering on our campuses. This includes our hospitals, long-term care homes and at the Bruyère Village.
We are making this change proactively, helping to reduce risks for those we care for, and to keep our staffing levels healthy. We will continue to monitor the situation on our campuses closely and will be ready to make changes when appropriate.
