On Sunday, July 11, the Bruyère vaccination clinic, in partnership with the AIDS Committee of Ottawa (ACO) and Ottawa Public Health, hosted a successful clinic for people living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS in the region.

Among other special guests at the clinic was none other than Ottawa’s Chief Medical Officer of Health – Dr. Vera Etches, who reported that she is now #DoubleVaccinatedVera.

We are thrilled to have been a part the COVID-19 vaccination story for Dr. Etches and so many others in our community. Since the opening of the Bruyère COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in April, Bruyère has partnered with Ottawa Public Health and community organizations across the city to increase access to vaccines through targeted, low barriers clinics. These partnerships have helped build trust, reduce fear, remove language, technology and documentation barriers, and get thousands of Ottawans vaccinated.
