Connecting to the Community – This year, we engaged with the public and celebrated the work of our investigators and research teams. We participated in
Doors Open Ottawa, where over 300 people visited Bruyère to learn more about the research and innovation happening here. We partnered with the Good Companions Seniors’ Centre to bring MEDTalks to life. Clinical investigator Andrew Frank, MD, also toured Ottawa seniors’ homes to support recruitment for our Alzheimer’s and dementia clinical trials.

Dr. Kumanan Wilson was appointed BRI’s Scientific Advisor on Innovation. His role includes recommending strategic partnerships, advising on implementation of innovation at BRI, and supporting our scientists on digital health, innovation, and commercialization.
