Community Learning Program

As part of the Community Service Learning program, the University of Ottawa works in partnership with Bruyère Continuing Care and its qualified personnel to allow University of Ottawa students to gain practical experience and to give back to their communities.

Students participate in structured volunteer activities that meet specific community needs and are linked to course learning. They actively and strategically reflect on their experience in order to increase their understanding of their area of study as well as their sense of civic responsibility.
