Function SummaryReporting to the Clinical Manager, this role is responsible for assessment and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders of patients. Is committed to living to Mission and Values of Bruyère.
Is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement. Required Qualifications- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent as recognized by the College
- Member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with assessment, interventions and treatment plans for persons with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorder
- Knowledge and experience with Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Ability to work independently and with members of an interdisciplinary team
