Function summaryReporting to Clinical Manager, the incumbent will provide portering services and general support to the unit as required according to the policies, procedures and standards of Bruyère in a safe, timely, efficient, and courteous manner. The incumbent functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and support team.

Required qualifications- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform activities requiring considerable standing, bending, reaching, pushing, transferring of patients and equipment
Preferred qualifications- Fluent in French and English
- Ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of Safe Patient Transfers Program
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment
- Ability to actively and effectively collaborate with the members of the interdisciplinary team
- Proven, excellent organizational and time management skills
