Function SummaryReporting to the Manager, Health Records and Decision Support, this role is responsible for greeting patients and families, assisting with their requests, assembling patient charts, responding to correspondence requests, managing incoming transcribed reports, and answering incoming calls ans emails directed to the department. This role receives requests from all levels of Bruyère employees and must be available to assist everyone including physicians, residents, and medical students. This role works closely with all members of the Health Records team, assisting and replacing staff as necessary.

Required Qualifications- College certificate in related field or equivalent combination of experience, education and training
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Health Records or healthcare facility environment
- Recent clerical experience, preferred
- Familiar with release of information policies and procedures
- Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement.)
