Function Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Administrator and Manager, Quality & Resident Experience, Long-Term Care, the incumbent coordinates a variety of activities within Bruyère Continuing Care's Long-Term Care (LTC) Homes including: quality improvement initiatives, events, newsletters and several LTC committees. The Administrative Coordinator will also take on special projects and provide some administrative support.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree (3 or 4 years) in Health Care related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in relevant positions preferably in the health care or long-term care with following responsibilities:
                  o Management of projects;
                  o Quality improvement projects; 
                  o Developments of communication tools and writing special reports;
                  o Organization of events or meetings;
                  o Provision of committee support; 
                  o Communication with internal/external stakeholders.
 
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced computer skills, MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access
  • Good knowledge of project management principles and approaches
  • Good knowledge of data measurement, collection, basic analysis and reporting
  • Quality Improvement Certifications, preferred
  • Knowledge of long-term care sector (asset)

  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Improvement methodologies
  • Skills with various computer programs, software and applications including word processing, spreadsheets, content management and other
  • Understanding of basic statistical analysis and use of database tools
  • Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment;
  • Ability to use discretion and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
