Function summaryReporting to the Manager, Scheduling Resources Office (SRO) the administrative assistant acts as a resource person and coordinates/assumes responsibility for a variety of administrative functions of the office. He/she is provides administrative support and assistance to both the Manager of SRO and Director, Decision support, Admissions, Health Records and Scheduling Resources Office. He/She is committed to living the Mission and Values of Bruyère Continuing Care. He/She is committed to patient and resident safety, on-going learning and continuous quality improvement.
Required qualifications - Two (2) years community college diploma in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Minimum of three (3) years office work experience in a health care setting
- Fluent in French and English
- Proficiency in computer applications, with Microsoft Office Suite (mainly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), QHR and/or Logibec
- Experience in organizing meetings, taking minutes and translating documents
- Experience in maintaining electronic filing systems
- Experience in health care environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of collective agreements
