About:
Mwali Muray is an assistant professor at the School of Nursing, University of Ottawa. Her doctoral research focused on the experience of francophone nursing care providers and patients regarding health care for official language minority communities in Ontario. She is passionate about healthy aging for vulnerable communities. She has taught courses on areas including health assessment and complex nursing care, and has guest lectured for several undergraduate and graduate courses in both English and French.
Muray earned her PhD in Nursing from the University of Ottawa, following the completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Business Administration from Laurentian University.
Research Interests:
Healthy aging, health needs of linguistic and visible minorities, health services management, unequal health-care access, health of francophone minorities, health of vulnerable and marginalized populations.
