About:
Patrick Davidson, PhD, is a Professor with the School of Psychology, Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa. He earned his PhD in Psychology from the University of Arizona, following the completion of his Master’s degree.
Davidson currently leads the Neuropsychology Laboratory in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on memory, executive functions, and emotion in healthy people and those with brain injuries or diseases. His lab combines perspectives and methods from cognitive psychology, cognitive aging, and cognitive neuroscience, with an interest in cognitive training and rehabilitation.
Research Interests:
Cognitive neuroscience of human memory, executive functions, and emotion, normal aging, age-related disorders, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease.
