Medications

On the day you move in, please provide a list of all medications to a member of our registered nursing staff. Don’t forget over-the-counter medications, supplements and herbal medications. All medications taken during your stay must be prescribed by an attending physician. Each new prescription is discussed with the attending physician or pharmacist. Family and friends should not bring in any medications for you.

The Ontario Government Drug Plan pays for most but not all medications. On the day of your move to our residence, we will ask you to complete a form concerning medication billing with MediSystem Pharmacy, our pharmacy partner.
