Alcohol

Residents may consume alcoholic beverages unless a ‘no alcohol’ order has been given by their physician. If your doctor allows it, you can consume a maximum of two standard-size drinks per day while on our premises or during an outing accompanied by staff. Residents or families must provide all alcoholic beverages. As residents cannot store alcoholic beverages in their room, please contact the nursing staff to discuss storage options.

Residents who behave aggressively or inappropriately as a result of the consumption of alcohol will not be served alcoholic beverages and their privileges will be reassessed by the care team.

Saint-Louis Residence has a bistro where residents and families can visit and enjoy happy hour (if this activity is permitted for the resident).
