Bruyère is incredibly proud to announce a new collaboration with Operation
Ramzieh in delivering much-needed grocery boxes and supplies to those in need in our community.
This movement has already helped provide well over 300 grocery boxes to seniors living at Bruyère Village, to patients being discharged from our rehabilitation programs, and to patients who have returned home. Operation Ramzieh has delivered a total of over 9,000 grocery boxes to those who are having challenges getting out and accessing affordable and healthy food options during COVID-19 in Ottawa and Toronto.
This growing operation is now being hosted at Bruyère’s historic ByWard Market site at 90 Cathcart Street in Ottawa. As part of our partnership, Bruyère Foundation will be issuing charitable tax receipts to anyone who contributes to Operation Ramzieh. The funds from the operation’s Go Fund Me page are being redirected through Bruyère Foundation, who will manage the funds required to purchase food and other necessities for those in need in our community.
